Another Glitch With the Hot Buys

Stardoll has been messing up a lot lately. Once again there is a glitch with the hot buys. This time both are the same price, but they have different names.

Another Stardoll Glitch??

This dress is from the Avril Lavigne store Black Star. But the store isn't in the Starplaza (at least not in the US). I used a link from stardollinsiders to get the clothes. But this dress is in the Most Popular section in the StarPlaza. So will this store be available to US members soon? Or is it just another Stardoll glitch?

Spoilers - August Hot Buys

The remaining August Hot Buys are showing as spoilers. The green socks have been pick of the day items for a few days, but they were no where to be found in the Starplaza. Well, they are in the Starplaza today. I can't wait for the sunglasses to come out. They are one of my fav August Hot Buys.

Update to the Start Page

Stardoll has updated the start page with larger pics of who just signed on and pics of the new items in the Starplaza & Suite Shop. I really like the pics of the new items because you don't have to go directly to the Starplaza or Suite Shop to see what is new, you can just look on the start page. Brilliant!! :)

Also, if you click on More People under Just Signed In you will be taken to a new page (the second pic above) to search for people. I don't know if this is new or not because I've been on a Stardoll hiatus thanks to Twilight. :) But I think it is cool that you can search for people using their name, country, and gender

UPDATE!! These items (except for the spell book and wand) are from a club- Black Star and a new store - Avril Lavigne Black Star. Unless you're from Sweden you will need a proxy to join the club, and when you join you get the perfume bottle and if you invite a friend you get the bracelet. You can access the new store with the same proxy to buy the other pieces. You can just buy the clothes if you don't want to use the proxy. Thestardollinsiders blog has the info on the club and the link without using the proxy. (I don't like to use manual proxies so I just clicked the link to buy the clothes.)

Have you ever visited a suite and found clothing you know was never sold in the plaza? Now all of these items above were found in one suite. Now how did she get them? Is she a hacker? Is she one of the few that knew about the infamous loop hole? Or does she really work at stardoll and is a staffer? And how come it always seems to be the same people with the stuff that was never sold in the plaza?

I just finished reading New Moon, and I am officially team Jacob!! I really loved him in this book. Maybe it was because we saw more of him and less of Edward. But I really think he is better for Bella. If she was with Jacob, she can stay human and there is less of a risk for her life. I'm eagerly waiting for my copy of Eclipse to come tomorrow or Friday. So when it arrives, I will be taking another hiatus from Stardoll and the blog. I'm sure everyone who has read the books know that once you start reading them you can't put them down and everything falls to the wayside until you're finished.

I have to admit I didn't understand what the hype was about Twilight. But I was bored and rented the movie a few weeks ago, and ever since I'm been hooked. I will be truly sad when I finish the series.

I want to say a huge thank you to my sis Zahmiyyah for helping me with the blog while I have my head stuck in Bella & Edward's life. PLEASE participate in the Twilight contest!!! You can't pass up free gifts!!! :0
