The new hot buys purse is free in the starplaza. Lately Stardoll has been having problems with the hot buys. The multi-colored dress that should have been released last week was released a few days ago with the same tap as this purse- 30 million members. But Stardoll has over 39 million members. I didn't buy it thinking that Stardoll would fix the problem and rerelease the dress. But they haven't rereleased the dress.

This dress is from the Avril Lavigne store Black Star. But the store isn't in the Starplaza (at least not in the US). I used a link from stardollinsiders to get the clothes. But this dress is in the Most Popular section in the StarPlaza. So will this store be available to US members soon? Or is it just another Stardoll glitch?

Also, if you click on More People under Just Signed In you will be taken to a new page (the second pic above) to search for people. I don't know if this is new or not because I've been on a Stardoll hiatus thanks to Twilight. :) But I think it is cool that you can search for people using their name, country, and gender

UPDATE!! These items (except for the spell book and wand) are from a club- Black Star and a new store - Avril Lavigne Black Star. Unless you're from Sweden you will need a proxy to join the club, and when you join you get the perfume bottle and if you invite a friend you get the bracelet. You can access the new store with the same proxy to buy the other pieces. You can just buy the clothes if you don't want to use the proxy. I just finished reading New Moon, and I am officially team Jacob!! I really loved him in this book. Maybe it was because we saw more of him and less of Edward. But I really think he is better for Bella. If she was with Jacob, she can stay human and there is less of a risk for her life. I'm eagerly waiting for my copy of Eclipse to come tomorrow or Friday. So when it arrives, I will be taking another hiatus from Stardoll and the blog. I'm sure everyone who has read the books know that once you start reading them you can't put them down and everything falls to the wayside until you're finished.

I have to admit I didn't understand what the hype was about Twilight. But I was bored and rented the movie a few weeks ago, and ever since I'm been hooked. I will be truly sad when I finish the series.

I know I've been M.I.A for a few days, and I appreciate everyone who checks my blog daily. But I have the entire summer off (no work!!) So, I decided to really enjoy my summer. For the past few days I've been making a point of getting out of the house everyday. Which is the reason why I haven't been updating the blog and signing on to Stardoll. When I'm starbasing (on Stardoll for hours at a time) I lie in bed pretty much all day. Friends List Updated

I was checking my friend requests, and I noticed that the friends list has been updated. It is now listed in alphabetical order. I liked how your best friends were listed in the order in which they became your friend. But it is easier to find your friends now because they are in order by name. What else do you think Stardoll should change? I think Stardoll should organize our closets like the storage box (tops in one section, bottoms in another, and dresses in another) I have tons and tons of clothes in my closet but I hate going in it. So I dress my doll with items from my storage box. My closet used to be organized this way, but the last time Stardoll changed the closet everything in my closet was moved to different spots. Does anyone know if the closest will stay organized once you save your suite. I tried this a while ago, and it didn't stay organized, so I haven't tired it since.

So, I was completely wrong :) I really didn't think the new spoilers were Elle. Sure there was a pink shirt that said Elle, but I thought the pieces were too edgy to be Elle. Either way, I don't care what they are, I LOVE THEM!!! And just like everyone else, I can't wait. And I'm digging the hairstyle on the doll. I hope it will be a new hairstyle. Some people saw the Miss Sixty collection in the Starplaza Thursday morning, but it disappeared. But today Stardoll has started to put up these advertisements on the side of the pages. If you click on the advertisement, you're taken to the Starplaza, but Miss Sixty is not in the plaza yet. I think some were able to buy the pieces when it was briefly in the store (Stardollinsiders), and I think they are selling the pieces in the bazaar. But I wouldn't buy them from the bazaar because 1. the seller is going to sell them for $60 sd and 2. they will be released soon and you can get them for their regular price, you just have to wait :)

What's up with the 1980s huge cell phone? Does anyone remember when phones used to be that big?? Wow, it makes you see how far we've come with technology. I love the purple sofa, but I love anything purple. :0 I like the upgraded laptop, but it would be nice if Stardoll released a laptop like the new TV (that actually plays videos) they gave to everyone. And Stardoll put all of the July hot buys in the spoilers.

Ashley Tisdale Club & Dress Up Doll

Another club based on a movie!! But we don't get the cool gifts like the other clubs.

If you answer the poll you can win Ashley's wardrobe. But the question is what poll? There isn't a poll in the club, and the poll on the start page is about Nikki Kerkhof. But I think Stardoll hasn't put the poll up because a lot of people are looking for it. Also, if you dress up Ashley's doll and you can win a gift. I'm not sure how you get the gift just yet. I dressed up her doll and didn't get anything in my suite. Once I know something I will update this post. :0

Also, I don't think we received any stardollars for the Princess Protection Program Club. But we did get the necklace and poster.

And we received the guitar in the Jonas Brothers Club for reaching 40,000 members. (But we're supposed to get the guitar for reaching 50,000 members & the poster for reaching 40,000 members).

UPDATE: I went back and looked closer at my transactions. I forgot we got $5 sd in the beginning of June for the Confessions club (I thought it was later in the month). Like V/http://thestardollinsiders.wordpress.com/ (see the comments) I only got $5sd for the Princess Club on two of my dolls, but I didn't get it for my 3rd doll.

Spoilers- Hot Buys Necklace & Hotel for Dogs

The hot buys necklace should be released on July 7th. And do these dogs look familiar? If I'm not mistaken these are the dogs from the movie Hotel for Dogs. But at the time it was only for members from a certain country (I think the UK but I could be wrong), and I didn't know much about proxies at the time, so I didn't get these dogs. So, I'm excited to see them in the spoilers. I hope they will be available for everyone, or maybe we can use proxies to get them. If we need proxies, I'll update the post with that info. :0 I saw two of these dogs in Martuss suite Friday. I'm not sure when she got the dogs though.

First, I have to apologize for not posting anything for almost a week. I was busy last weekend and everyday this week. But I'm back!! :)

Another Disney Club!! Free gifts & stardollars!! Now we know how to get the yellow princess dress we saw in the spoilers.

Click on Clubs and go to the bottom of the page and on the left you'll see the three Disney Clubs.

20,000 members= stardollars (not sure how much, the picture only has $1)

30.000 members = necklace

40,000 members= poster

50,000 members= yellow princess dress

Also, you can take a quiz about the movie and get a Princess Protection Program t-shirt.

And I'll update later about how to join the club using proxies.

New Store- Basics

There is a new store in the Starplaza- Basics!!! Everything looks Basic, but everything is super cheap!! And there are a lot of different colors. But it looks like it will only be for a limited time, did you notice the large clock in the store.

Update: The clock has been updated, and now it is a link to the play and earn games. But I still think Basics will only be in the Starplaza for a short time.

New Play & Earn Game

Stardoll finally released the last play and earn game. I love the Celebrity Quiz game. It is so easy to get points by playing that game. The new game is difficult if you don't know your geography, which I quickly learned that I don't know mine. :( You have to match the country name to its location.

Disney Club-Jonas Brothers

Just like the Confessions of a Shopaholic club, if you join the Jonas Brothers club you get free stardollars and gifts when the club reaches a certain amount of members. But unlike the Confessions club, there isn't a contest to enter.

20,000 = 5 stardollars

30,000 = T-shirt

40,000 = Movie poster

50,000 = Guitar

I'm not sure if it is for the US only. If it is, I'm sure you can use proxies. I'm checking on that.

So it seems like the black halter dress was possibly given away as a prize a while ago. Do you remember when you could vote for your favorite Vivienne Tam outfit? Well I believe there were actual winners (I wasn't one of course :)) because I've heard some people already own this black dress. If that is the case, it sucks that Stardoll would release this dress if it was only given to a select few people, which would indeed make it a rare dress. Now it's not so rare. :(

Free Swimsuit & Hat- Simple

Every UK member of the Simple club received a free swimsuit and hat. But everyone can get them too.

1. Log into Stardoll, go to "My Account" > "Account Settings" Find your "User Id" and copy that number. SIGN OUT OF STARDOLL.

2. Enter this link in your url bar:

and before you press enter, paste your User ID after "u="

3. Press enter

4. At the bottom of the page you'll see a form. Fill out the form with your info. It doesn't have to be the correct info. *If you got the free green dress, don't use that same info. Use new info.*

5. Press Submit and sign out of the Simple site and sign back into your Stardoll account and there should be a green Simple bag in your suite.

**Update** I had a hard time getting the hat to actually stay on my doll's head. So if you are having the same problem, you have to keep trying. :)

It looks like a new swimsuit desgin is coming to the design shop. There seems to be some problem that I hope Stardoll will fix. The actual design seems to be a jumble of designs, but when it is complete it shows as a swimsuit.

What is Midsummer? (I had an idea but I wasn't 100% sure- you have to love the internet :)

Midsummer may simply refer to the period of time centered upon the summer solstice, but more often refers to specific European celebrations that accompany the actual solstice, or that take place around the 24th of June and the preceding evening. The exact dates vary between cultures.

Sweden

In modern Sweden, Midsummer's Eve and Midsummer's Day (Midsommarafton and Midsommardagen) were formerly celebrated on June 23th and 24th, but since the 1950's on the Friday between June 19th and June 25th and the following Saturday. It is arguably the most important holiday of the year, and one of the most uniquely Swedish in the way it is celebrated, even if it has been influenced by other countries long ago. Well looky here!! I imagine these are the new releases for today and Thursday. I guess they're part of the water/ocean theme going on for the summer. But could they be part of the new LE collection?? Could they be for a new doll? As always, we'll have to wait and see. On a side note, I love the pink and blue cutout bow tie bathing suits and the purple and black suit. I heart the shoes too, but I'm a sucker for a shoe with a heel and a platform wedge.
